“Andrew I is back! Once again we are happy to release new music from the collaboration between the Italian producer Paolo Baldini and one of Italy’s most intriguing voices.
Andrew I is currently working on his first full-length record (produced by DubFiles, of course), and “Smile Jamaica” is the first preview of what the album will sound like: a unique blend of roots reggae, dancehall, and hiphop.
Celebrating the livelihood of the Jamaica and its resilience in the aftermath of hurricane Melissa, “Smile Jamaica” is a heartfelt tribute to the island that gave birth to a musical genre and a way of life that have deeply influenced Andrew I’s artistic journey.
