Ilements – As It Is (2024) Single

Label: Baco Records
Produced by: Ilements | Twan Tee
Release date: 12/04/2022

Ilements presents the single As It Is, taken from his forthcoming album due in March 2025. The artist of Caribbean origin is a fervent defender of reggae music and the Rastafari tradition: noting a lack of honesty of some, he wanted to relate in this single his vision and perception of the current state of reggae music, where too many are ready to compromise.

Defending the sincerity and commitment that this music imposes, Ilements denounces a kind of imposture that seeks to replace the lion with the hyena and makes a call for integrity, spirituality and resistance against hypocrisy and oppression, while remaining positive and faithful to his principles.

Ilements’ new album promises introspection, spirituality and celebration through conscious lyrics about roots reggae and rub a dub productions. It will be a personal story carefully musicalized and whose sound color will pay tribute to the singer’s Caribbean roots.

As It Is is available on digital platforms and its music video can be seen on YouTube.
