Taking influence from the golden age of Jamaican rhythm, this version pays homage to the haunting beauty of the original while grounding it in deep, soulful roots.
Yorke’s ethereal vocal carries the familiar melody over a steady heartbeat of bass and drum — a meeting of tenderness and groove. The release is rounded out with two dub interpretations: “Frozen Sky Dub”, a glacial echo chamber where time melts away, and “Surfing in the Dub”, a guitar-led voyage that drifts on waves of reverb and delay.
