After a long journey in the world of music, singer Matah presents “Sound.”

This work emerged organically as a testimony to her most recent artistic phase, focused on reggae culture, with special attention to her personal experience within the world of Sound System.

“Sound” is a collection of songs that narrate, from an intimate and personal perspective, the journey through that sonic ecosystem. The album delves into various styles, where sound becomes not just a channel but the main character. Matah’s project champions music in which sound plays a central role, exploring new textures and nuances that push the boundaries of the genre.

Co-produced with Chalart58, the album also features a notable collaboration with Catalan artist Adala, who takes part in the track “Gira el vinil”—contributing the lyrics as well and adding a unique lyrical dimension to this musical journey.

“Sound” is a sonic manifesto, a declaration of identity, and a tribute to a great culture that pulses through basslines and vinyl.
