Mellow Mood feat. Romain Virgo – Pull Up (2025) Single

Label: La Tempesta Dub
Release date: 02/05/2025

Mellow Mood are preparing to celebrate 20 years of activity by releasing their seventh album, set for release in April 2025.

The first single off the album, “Pull Up”, features Jamaican star Romain Virgo, and was written to be a ‘reggae anthem’ with a sparse arrangement, dominated by the hypnotic interlocking of drums and bass. The vintage sounds of Hammond and Farfisa anticipate the sound aesthetics of (almost) the entire record.

In fact, the track introduces the listener to the new approach that Mellow Mood have adopted for their upcoming album: the band members’ musicianship is now the main focus of the studio recordings, as they embarked on a quest for more vintage and analog sounds compared to their previous records.

Paolo Baldini sits once again behind the mixing desk, while the master has been entrusted to British veteran Nick Manasseh.

“Pull Up” is released via La Tempesta Dub and is distributed by Believe Music Italia.

Enjoy and… Pull Up!
