Cool Up Records presents the new solo album by Italian-Brazilian artist Paulinho entitled Humanity, available from 3 December 2024 on digital platforms. The album is released after several vinyl previews such as My People Want to Move, Feeling Irie and Music is the Right Way.

Humanity delivers a socially conscious message, with Paulinho showcasing both his sensitivity and critique of current global situation, alongside a much-needed message of hope and love in these times. This is the most complete work by the Italian artist to date, highlighting his exceptional talent, voice, and songwriting.

Cool Up Records brings skillful production with their signature sound, resulting in a compelling array of tracks in this seven-song album, which explores the various subgenres of Jamaican music.

For instance, you’ll find Rub a Dub/Early Dancehall influences in tracks like Can Anyone Tell Me, Breathless, and Live or Die. On the other hand, songs such as My People Want to Move and Oppressed Man lean towards a Rockers sound, while Feeling Irie and Music is the Right Way feat the Spanish Singer Payoh SoulRebel, are more oriented towards Roots Reggae. Undoubtedly, this is a solid piece of work from the Spanish label, which has firmly backed Paulinho’s talent for this project.

The design is yet another example of the unparalleled skill of Mr. John Vanilla. It retains the style of previous works and once again showcases his remarkable talent.
