Rawb – A Place in the Sun (2025) EP

Label: Rawb
Release date: 12/05/2025

Rawb makes his return this autumn with A Place in the Sun, a bright, inspiring concept EP that marks a new milestone in
his musical journey. Staying true to his signature blend of reggae, dub, and pop, the artist opens up new horizons
here—venturing for the first time into warmer, more sincere folk-leaning textures.

From the opening track “A Place in the Sun,” we’re drawn into an almost country-flavored atmosphere—soothing and
sunlit—that reveals the project’s full depth. With “Better,” a more intimate, deeply reggae-rooted song, Rawb shares his
search for inner peace and his desire for personal growth. The collaboration with Fatbabs on “Try to Be” brings an extra
shot of freshness and energy, powerfully expressing a commitment to staying authentic within a modern, unifying take on
reggae.

“Dangerous” (with its roots-lover vibe), “Lost in the Noise” (blending pop and hip-hop influences), and “We a Run” (a
dub powerhouse) round out an eclectic, uplifting project that’s firmly anchored in its time. Written and—on most
tracks—mixed with TRKA, his longtime beatmaker and DJ, the EP also takes a clear step forward in production, confirming
the duo’s ongoing move toward a more organic sound, supported by several musicians from the live setup and a few
occasional guests.
