Continuing the traditions of Jamaican dub and expanding its reach into the spiritual and astral realms, Before The Beginning is a sonic transmission from the farthest reaches of space-time. Hypnotic delays, tectonic low frequencies, and evocative melodic fragments fold in on themselves like galaxies spiraling inward and outward. The result is music that’s not just heard, but felt.

“It’s an honor to align frequencies with Scientist, a true master of the form ,” says Blanc du Blanc. Indeed, the legendary dub innovator, whose work has shaped sound systems for over four decades, becomes both engineer and oracle here, channeling Blanc du Blanc’s transmissions into the mix through analog circuitry and delay fractals, sculpting them into a new dimension of dub.
