Sinergia – Pausa (2022) Album

Label: Guspira Records
Release date: 11/10/2022

Sinergia, the new Reggae group from El Maresme, is born from the small coastal town of El Masnou. A band made up of 5 musicians: Martí (keyboard), Marcel (guitar), Horacio (bass), Vicenç (voice) and Guillem Albert (drums).

Since 2017 they have given voice in their lyrics of a social and vindictive nature, playing with different styles and sounds, but always putting the genre that defines their identity, reggae, in catalan. In their short career they have shown a unique quality and essence, which they show in each concert and with which we gradually discover their musical proposal.

“Pausa” (Guspira Records 2022) is the new work by Sinergia that already has 4 songs published and that have served as a springboard to advance the new work. The first of these is “Punyals a l’esquena” a song that is born from the current political context and that speaks of unfulfilled promises and cycle ends. This spring they released “SOS” and “Una vegada més”, the latter with a more hip-hop groove essence that emits a contagious feeling of optimism and happiness, and lastly, “El desert del demà”.

In this work, 4 unpublished songs are discovered, among which “Un altre any” stands out, in which they present a softer rhythm, where we find a slight Latin essence. Much more rebellious and fierce we find “Em rento les mans” that plays with synthesizers and rhythms that move away from the most classic Reggae dressing it with futuristic airs. “Deliri infinit” closes the work that with an atmosphere of celebration Sinergia encourages to continue the party and enter this delirium that has no end. This is how Sinergia presents “Pausa”, the sign hanging on the door of this work, which gives it its name and reflects the energy of Sinergia: freshness and dopamine between Hip-Hop, Reggae and Dancehall.
