“Sent Us Away,” the new single from SunDub’s upcoming third studio album, came together through a collaboration with two groundbreaking artists—Mike Love and the legendary guitarist Earl ‘Chinna’ Smith. The track, along with the rest of the record, was recorded initially at sessions at Tuff Gong in Jamaica, where Chinna joined to add his guitar magic. “Sent Us Away” follows the release in 2025 of the single “Love & Humanity,” which also had a very successful run as part of the Brooklyn Riddim release, featuring more than a dozen different vocalists recording tracks using the song’s riddim. With Mike Love’s distinctive vocal style playing against Joanna Teters’ powerhouse voice, “Sent Us Away” brings a serious roots vibe to the US reggae scene to start 2026.
