The Dub Surrection is an Australian dub collective from the Gold Coast, creating modern roots dub music inspired by the heavyweight spirit of 1970s Jamaican sound system culture. Their debut EP, recorded in Currumbin, brings together some of Australia’s most respected reggae, soul, and jazz musicians.

Featuring vocalist Jamie Allensworth (Bobby Alu), drummer Lisa Purmodh (Damian Marley, Stephen Marley, Bunny Wailer, Xavier Rudd), and a heavyweight horn section comprising Nick Garbett (The Strides / The Vampires), Peter Hunt (Kooii), and James Greening (The Melbourne Ska Orchestra), the EP also features guitarist, producer and engineer Scott French (SELVE) alongside bassist and creative Brook Rees.
