A concept album that follows the course of a storm, two waves of rising crescendos that thunder around the central track of the record – I, Of The Storm, It’s their most ambitious work to date, brought to life with a host of incredible collaborations and featuring their signature folk / dub style throughout, Through The Storm proves exactly why there’s so much hype around the project coming from all over the world right now.

The project led by Euan McLaughlin & Tom Spirals has been co-produced by dub legend Gaudi, Euan McLaughlin & Tom Spirals and mixed by Paolo Baldini DubFiles, the album was recorded during a winter storm at Black Bay Studios on the Isle of Lewis, infusing the sessions with an unmistakable energy and inspiring the core concept. The remote setting, mere miles from Scotland’s ancient Calanais Standing Stones, brought a spiritual and mythical dimension to the music-making process, unlike anything they had experienced before.

‘Through The Storm’ features guests Horseman, Lewis McLaughlin, Junior Dread, Josie Duncan, Rachel Newton, Ross Ainslie, corto.alto, and Callum Convoy along side the core band of Maxi Roots , Nicky Kirk and Ben Burnside. The album is a groundbreaking addition to the genre, showcasing An Dannsa Dub’s commitment to bridging gaps between musical worlds while honoring their Scottish roots.
