Staying true to an authentic sound and feel, an all-star collection of Reggae veterans got back to those Studio One-style roots. Relying on the interactive chemistry of in-studio collaboration and analog recording techniques to produce work that’s honest, relevant, and enlightening. The authentic energy and easily translatable vibes of this record will appeal to reggae lovers as much as it appeals to listeners in other genres.

Music evolves over time, but artists like Jah’Mila, Winston McAnuff, Derajah, Kiddus I, Big Youth, and Cedric Myton show that the code at the heart of these musical styles never disappears, even as the styles continue to evolve. Even after wars, travels, trials and successes shape the people who make the music, their heart remains. And that heart is what makes this album such a vital and accessible addition to any worthy collection.
