Cool Up Records presents Heartical, its latest 7-inch vinyl release, this time featuring Italian artist Virtus. In this single, Virtus once again showcases his vocal skills, reaffirming why he is a respected artist in the European Reggae scene. It confirms that the collaboration between Cool Up and Virtus is synonymous with serious work.

Heartical brings us a high-energy song that invites dancing and enjoyment. Virtus contributes his lyrics and style with determination, displaying clear influences from Dancehall and Raggamuffin, along with impeccable skills. The sound of Heartical is rooted in Digital Reggae, specifically in the acclaimed vintage Casio MT-40 keyboard, which has been used to produce the instrumental for the most part. It highlights the power of its rhythmic base and its distinctive sound.

As expected, this release includes an excellent riddim version on the B side, showcasing the quality of its production. A version that will undoubtedly be appreciated by singers and DJs in the scene.

The vinyl label design is once again the result of Mr. John Vanilla’s unparalleled talent. It maintains the aesthetic line of previous singles, showcasing his craftsmanship once again.

Certainly, Heartical will captivate Reggae and Soundsystem enthusiasts, contributing to the rich musical heritage in constant development at Cool Up Records. This new release is another expression of Cool Up Records‘ tireless dedication to encompassing different sub-genres of Reggae.
